The MUN Med Simulabs Group strives to foster learning about the role of simulation in health professions education through participating in learning with simulation devices, workshops and simulation research opportunities. This group aims to provide the opportunity for medical learners to learn and practice surgical techniques.

Simulabs creates an accessible way for learners to gain hands-on exposure to specialized surgeries and integrate clinical knowledge and skills that students learn in the classroom and on rotation..

This group will involve undergraduate learners in the faculty of medicine and impact their learning in terms of opportunities to work with education simulation devices, learn the role of simulation in surgical education, gain exposure to specialized surgeries, enhance anatomy knowledge and technical skills.
