Outdoor Adventure Society

The MUN Outdoor Adventure Society (MUN OAS) is a social network and resource for outdoor enthusiasts that promotes an active lifestyle while advocating respectful and responsible enjoyment of the outdoors. Through a mix of social events and outdoor adventures catering to all levels of experience, we make the great outdoors easier and safer for our members to explore.

MUN OAS Society will get undergraduate students to experience the outdoors and scenery of Newfoundland. Students physical health and well being will be improved by giving them access to fun physical activities that they can experience with fellow students, including Hikes, Camping Trips, and Bonfires.

This society will give students who are not from Newfoundland, specifically international students, a chance to try different sites and fun activities that they can enjoy all year around. These experiences could make an impact on students, encouraging them to enjoy Newfoundland and its outdoor life after they graduate by staying in the province.
