Ocean Sciences Undergraduate Society (OceanUS)

The Ocean Sciences Undergraduate Society is a group on campus run by students with a unifying love of the ocean and its organisms!We serve as the academic society for the Department of Ocean Sciences and our goal is to ignite a passion for the ocean in others and to learn from one another, bringing education into a social atmosphere.

We run large number of events throughout the school year which offers students many opportunities to get involved on campus!

This group hopes to encourage science students to pursue marine science degrees, and further empower those in the program. This is done through networking events and initiatives for students to become involved both at Memorial and within the community.
