Law Society

Memorial law society is a group for students to learn more about the law and Canadian legal system through mooting, specifically in the court of appeals. Students will be assigned a case and with the help of coaches (local lawyers) students will learn how to read the case and then prepare submissions representing both sides of the court. Students will have the chance to compete in a mooting competition, locally and nationally.
