My name is Stephanie, I’m a second-year mechanical engineering student. This is my first time as an Engineering Representative with MUNSU. I plan to use this position to advocate for the needs of engineering students here at MUN specifically for the underrepresented and marginalized students in the faculty.

This position is important to me as a black and female engineering student, I have found that there are not enough systems in place or resources available to ensure that all students studying engineering have fair and equal access to any/all opportunities.

I aim to start the process of bringing accessibility to the students of the engineering faculty and uplifting the voices of those who need to be heard.
