Class Cohorts

What is a Class Cohort?

MUNSU defines class cohorts as a group of students who work through a full curriculum together to achieve the same academic degree together.

Ratification as a Class Cohort.

To form a new Class Cohort you must collect 50% + 1 signatures from members of the cohort using the Class Cohort Formation Signature Sheet below. Individuals do not need to directly sign the sheet. Their student numbers will be used as verification.

Once your signatures are collected you should email them to studentlife@munsu.ca and submit a Ratification Application. You must apply for Ratification each semester in order to receive funding and access to MUNSU’s spaces and other resources, however the signature sheet is only required for your first time applying for Ratification.

In each semester that your Ratification application is approved you receive $120 of funding ($60 for the spring semester) You also become eligible to apply for the Special Project Grant ($250)
