CHMR-FM Radio

CHMR-FM (93.5 FM, 103.7 cable) is a citywide radio station that broadcasts from the second floor of the University Centre. MUN Radio has been a staple on the St. John’s radio dial, providing diverse programming from all genres since 1951. The station also broadcasts to a global audience via Real Audio and MP3 here.

Members of the Students’ Union who are interested in hosting their own show or producing a show on CHMR-FM can volunteer by contacting the station. Every volunteer is trained in the many aspects of radio production, gathering news, and on-air skills. Training courses are offered most months, and new volunteers are always welcome.
