Student Code of Conduct

Students at Memorial are governed by a Student Code of Conduct while on campus and for some off campus activities. The Code outlines behavior which the university considers to be non-academic misconduct offences, and the range of remedies and/or penalties which may be imposed. Academic misconduct is governed by the Memorial University Calendar and other university policies. For more information about the Code, please visit here.

The Director of Advocacy can provide assistance for students who have questions regarding the Code of Conduct. Representatives of the Students Union’ can offer your assistance with letters, attend meetings with you, and provide advice.

A copy of the Student Code of Conduct is available here.

If you ever find yourself having questions or problems, contact the Director of Advocacy, Matt Barter,  at (709) 864-7633 or advocacy@munsu.ca. Members are also more than welcome to drop by the MUNSU Office (UC-2000) to discuss their concerns at any time.
